Creepy Credit cards

Credit cards are Pandora's box that can fit in a wallet. Credit cards are not like a mirage cause you actually do buy what you want with them, but are more like dating a beautiful woman with issues. Everything looks great until you realize you are dating Naomi Campbell, Britney Spears, or the young lady from Ben Stiller's movie the Heartbreak kid. If you make many purchases on your card you better pay it off fast or your credit score is going to drop lower than a double jointed midget doing the limbo.

Also they need to change the word debt into something more nasty. Its not credit card debt its a credit card burial. Another thing credit cards remind me of are the advertisements for Fast food restaurants where the hamburgers look great on TV and at the restaurant itself they are complete and utter garbage. Credit cards look fantastic "sweet free money" but eventually when you don't pay the only loan you will get is being alone, as no one will want anything to do with you.

Check out my good friend Amy's humor blog at http://amyoops.blogspot.com/ Her blog has funny lists, pictures, and blogs themselves. She also has some great t-shirts at http://www.cafepress.com/Amys_World

Yeah, I managed to get my first piece of plastic at the tender age of 18. Racked that sucker up to the limit on gas and cash advances in less than a year. Evil things.

Good topic! I don't know how many times I've gone out and bought clothes that I've never worn, tools and appliances I've hardly ever used all because of the impulsiveness of credit card purchasing.
Today I look at something and think "if it's still here tomorrow I'll buy it" It's not easy to do but it works. Usually within an hour I've forgotten about that item and I'm on to wanting another item I don't need.

Hey you, I am back from the great sultry tropics! At least, my body is... but I've left my mind lying somewhere in a state of time in the Florida Keys - it's much nicer in that relaxed environment than the real world!

Credit Cards - oh, you've touched on a touchy subject!

It never ceases to amaze me how (why) the credit card companies bombard all the young adults (like my 20 and 18 years olds) with free credit card offers, without even knowing whether or not they're employed and can afford to pay back what they borrow! We literally get a dozen or so weekly at our house, and I just toss them in the trash (for my daughter, especially - who is a full-time college student that doesn't work nearly enough) because she doesn't have the restraint to NOT spend on credit!

It's actually kind of amazing the way they do that nowadays, too, because when I was a young adult - it was REALLY HARD to even get a credit card unless you were somewhat established...
